Backpacation to South Korea- Day 2

This time we wake up early and had breakfast at Paris Croissant (Only Rash and Own). Then we head to Insadong by foot. It’s actually took only 10 mins from our guesthouse.

While waiting for two sweety guys, baik snap!

I get so hyperactive when I was in Korea

Check on our itinerary before bergerak

This time, we waited them to choose coffee and pastries.

We arrived at Insadong when most of the shops still close. Most of people said this is the right place to get souvenirs. For me, you better get it from Dongdaemun. Cheaper

Still close

They welcomed us with choir

Maybe there…

And we found ….

We walked further down until we found Cheonggyecheon stream at the central of the city. This place is suitable for people who want a very peace and harmony environment. Absolutely stunning view.
Walking down the stream is a must! If we can convert our Klang river into this, I bet it could be one of tourist attractions in KL.
Cheonggyecheon Stream!!!

We bumped into one Korean guy wearing Hanbok (Traditional Korean clothing) with his microphone. Apa lagi, posing time lah!

Hanbok Man. He’s so nice to us

Thanks Kak Filipino for perfect photo
Tekan ni before crossing the road

Jom melintas!

Then, we walk straight until the end of the stream and we found huge replica in the middle of the road.
And behind it, there’s a palace facing the hill. It’s actually a famous Gyeongbukgung Palace. Thatโ€™s all I know. Advice: Do some research on history because you will appreciate it more.

This time we head to Namsan Tower. As we don’t know how to get there by bus, we hike the hills. Our motto of the day: Keep walking baby!

Cable car to Namsan Tower
Finally sampai!
Once arrived, we bought cable tickets which I forgot how much.
You have to queue in a ‘pair system’. It took only 10 minutes to arrive at the peak point.
You can choose to hike Mt. Namsan using stairs provided. For us, sorrylah. Weโ€™re running out of energy already lah!

Muka penat tapi puas hati

At base level of N Seoul Tower, you will notice love padlocks hanging around at the fences. You can see millions of it.

This is only 1 area

According to source, this is culture where lovebirds lock their love symbolize of promise made since 1980s. So have you locked your love? Why not you come over here and lock it!

Angry Birds padlock found!

Fantastic Four
We were so hunger for food during our visit to Namsan. I ate Churros cost 3000 Won to prevent me from hungry (Sedappp). No Halal main course found. So, we have to find it by going to the town.

Churros time

Try our luck guna short cut turun bawah. Berjaya uols!

So, we have to find it by going to the town. We stopped by at coffee shop named Cafe Bene!

 Penat faces…

Cafe Bene is quite similar to Starbucks

I love this technology. It will vibrate to notify it’s your turn to take foods! Cool kan?

After gained our energy, we go to Han River which quite far away from town.
Han River is the best place to have picnic. Most of Korean teenagers spent their evening time by visiting this place. With the weather like that, it’s totally perfect.

Han River view

Ada guy offered himself to take a picture of us. So kind!

And thanks to you Own

We spent our time at Han River by taking tons of pictures. Check it out:

We’re going home for a Maggie session again. For this time, we had an opportunity to chat with one uncle from Singapore. He listened to us gossiping in Malay language.

He asked us, where are we from and chat about his travel experience.
He’s in 40++ I guess yet he inspires us.
