Last weekend, I have to drive my family to Ipoh.
Even though, Ipoh used to be my hometown (used to be lah), I’m still not familiar with lots of attractions.
Plus, my main objective is to visit my uncle in hospital.
So to bring some excitement, I google-ed over some famous foods in Ipoh.
Obviously, the result showed me the infamous Nasi Ganja in Ipoh.
Since, whole family hasn’t tried any, so we head to Yong Suan Coffee Shop once arrived in town.
It’s pretty hard to find the shop as my GPS can’t locate it.
Keep searching by asking some locals there. Uncle who worked in Esso told me that the place is just behind this building. Ah haaaa. Thanks so much uncle.
The shop called Nasi Kandar Ayam Merah and located inside Yong Suan Restaurant. You may order food from the mamak and for drink, Yong Suan’s staff will take it for you.
We ordered fried chickens, special beef rendang and fish curry for ibu.
Personally, I can say there’s nothing special about it. If you ask me whether I will come for 2nd time, all I can say is maybe but not in short time. I would prefer Nasi Kandar Line Clear compared to this Nasi Ganja.
