Top 12 About My 2012

2012! It was great, fantastic and awesome year has been filled with ups and downs of my life. And here I am, laying on my bed, looking back at my Top 2012 things I love during the year of 2012.

Here they are :

1) Bangkok with the girls
It was my first experience travelling with only GIRLS in my group. Me, Yana, Shima and Ummu heading to Bangkok early this year for holiday. Oh! Forgot to tell, they are all my officemates. So before we went for the trip, we applied for annual leave separately as we think management will never notice it. And unfortunately, our boss traced the tactic a day before we depart. We managed to get all things cleared and went to Bangkok peacefully. Oops! I’m here not supposed to write about it! Hehe…Terbabass.. 3 months before I went to Bangkok, I read few travel blogs and they keep telling me Thailand is an awesome country with smiling people. They tend to love Thailand more than their country I guess. And after I’m back from Bangkok, I definitely agreed with them. Thailand is a special land. They welcome tourists like their own family. Honestly, I’m in love with Thailand!

2) Penang
Went to Penang for a short vacation with my friends. The weather at that time was super hot! But I managed to grab famous cendol in Penang to make myself feels ‘cold’ during summer burning…Gitew! When talk about Penang, foods definitely will be on top of the list to do. And my-wajib-try-restaurant in Penang is Kapitan. Oh my…Kapitan has the most delicious Tandoori Chicken in ze world. Even I got lost in Lebuh Chulia everytime I came to find Kapitan restaurant. But it’s all worth it.

3) Redang Island trip with gile-gile people!
Everything was plan 3 months before we went to Redang in April 2012. It became official trip with my Iron River ex-schoolmates for the first time ever. It was awesome journey as I tried to bring almost 9 people in 1 group to Redang island. It’s not easy ya… yet I had so much fun with all of them. And yes, this trip does make us getting closer day by day. Thanks guys for the great friendship we developed. So, some of you guys dah keep asking me, what’s my plan for them in 2013? Just wait and see lah! Surprise..Surprise!

4) Rawa Island- The most enchanting island I’ve ever went
This year seems to be a year for islands. After Redang, I feel like giving a chance to discover island in Southern part of Peninsula Malaysia. Like last year, I gave myself a short awesome break in Tioman. But this year, definitely one of my unofficial 2012 wishlist, I went to Rawa for a visit. Just a visit to explore small island nearby Tioman island. For me, if you need a sweet honeymoon, please include Rawa Island in your list. Made for people who love privacy and good times playing with sun! Did I say I bumped into Tee-Am-Jay? Oh by the way, he’s so hot!

5) Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Bought my ticket in February when my sister told me she really want to go to Saigon for shopping…Ahaa, at the end of the trip, she was upset with people in Saigon especially the sellers. As I read on few travel blogs, they will never give Saigon a second chance after terrible experiences. I never listen as I would love to experience it by myself. And yes. The blogger was right! Even, Saigon was not a good place to visit (I still don’t understand why Malaysians love it)…I would love to go to Hanoi. Oh Halong Bay, will I see you in 2013? Hopefully!

6) Hello 25!
11th September (every year) definitely become my favorite date. No matter how I celebrate it last few years, this year will be different as I’m turning 25! Twenty-five, my dear (only 5 years to BIG 30)…I can’t believe time flies so really fast and I am 25 years old. I still eating choki-choki in public and I can’t sleep alone, as a matter of fact! But when think about it, all things like that, doesn’t measure your maturity. What does is how you look yourself in reality… So stop judging other people. Think about yourself and be honest with it. Then, you will find how matured you are 🙂

The only photo I found. Thanks my girls!

7) Jakarta
Went to Jakarta for some complicated things I can’t say in public. Having such a limited time in Jakarta makes me judge it as similar city like Kuala Lumpur (It’s actually almost the same). I will try to find time to re-visit Jakarta to enjoy a truly Indonesian moment. Maybe one-day! Who knows right?

8) Koh Lipe
Such a last minute trip with 2 years completed plan with Azlina, Arda and Pakya. When I said 2 years completed plan, it means, I have put Koh Lipe in mind since last 2 years. And for the entire 2 years, I’ve been working on the itinerary and everything from hotels to transports. Such a proper plan for this trip. Yes it is! I don’t know why, but there’s something about Koh Lipe that makes myself hunger to know. Finally, on November, I’ve got a chance to discover the island in reality! I’m blessed.

12) New Beginning
It’s very hard to see me blogging about my job. Yes, I prefer to keep it personal :). And for 2012, I have to say goodbye to my current job. By the way, it was my first job after I graduated from UiTM. What I want to say here is, thank you so much Dream Chorus for giving a great opportunity to a ‘fresh grad’ like me. Syukur! I never forget all the experiences I’ve been through with people and friends I’ve met during my time in Dream Chorus. Oh, for my farewell celebrations, thanks to all involved in bringing the best to me. As for now, I’m so looking forward to my new beginning in 2013. I can’t wait to bring myself to next level in my career development! Oh I’m so excited!

With ever gorgeous girls I have 🙂

Hope your 2012 bring so much happiness and joy to your life. So do I! Till we meet again in 2013.
